WELCOME TO MALAYSIA STREET FESTIVAL

After the success of the Malaysian Contingent marching in Melbourne for the first time in 2011, Vision Malaysia alongside Alive Group is proud to deliver to the Australian People and the City of Melbourne, the Malaysia Street Festival held on the 16th of October celebrating Malaysia Day.

Malaysia Street Festival aims to share the Malaysian culture, food, art, entertainment and what it is like being Malaysian to all.

Admission: Free to the public

Activities:

  • 12 Restaurants featuring authentic Malaysian, Nyonya and our colonials Japan, Spain/Portugal as well as our neighboring ASEAN countries Indonesia & Singapore.
  • 10 Specialist stalls featuring handicraft, interactive activities for kids, hair and makeup and thai massage services.
  • 10 cultural performances
  • 3 Food demonstrations guiding you on how to cook your most loved Malaysian dishes
